20151110-118A7169-Edit 20151107-118A5852-Edit 20151110-118A7103-Edit Express November20151110-118A7339-Edit 20151110-118A7110-Edit 20151110-118A6961-Edit 20151110-118A6849-Edit 20151110-118A7446-Edit with november well under way and everyone gearing up toward the holiday season i am still trying to figure out how to best transition into colder weather. i like being able to show a little bit of skin, i would chose it over bundling up any day, hence our ongoing relationship with la of course. daylight savings makes it really hard to think about colour these days, everything is just more gloomy and dark. even all the tv shows i’m into these days are dark (scream queens, american horror story, walking dead… and yes my most recent obsession with vampire diaries, because we all have our guilty pleasures), not to mention all i want to do is cuddle up under the sheets and hibernate. for the days when i just don’t know what to wear black is still my go to. this month’s express outfit is all about that. while i was in picking out my holiday sparkles i picked up a bunch more of those ribbed sweaters from our last express shoot as well as found some new ones i really like. the laced top is a hard find, comes in black and white and when i saw it i snatched it up right away, plus that sheering faux leather jacket is perfect for winter layering. a seemingly simple outfit but the mix of textures and details really provides with a lot to look at. a good example of how black doesn’t always need to mean boring. what do you think?
