perfect timing and some inspiring instagram shots by the loverly caroline gault and i find myself at the door to one of the most welcoming spaces in the city (on one of the nicest days this year may i add). haithem kaadiki has got to be one of the warmest hosts i have ever had the pleasure of interacting with and with a mimosa in hand waiting for me upon my arrival to boot. i got him just in time for western canada fashion week, so to my pleasant surprise i also got to say hi to miss leah van loon, who was styling the show in edmonton just in a few short days after my visit. what is exciting on top of being in the presence of a great mind of the designer is that this is his first full women’s collection presented to buyers and omg is it ever amazing. the neon, the structure, the cuts and the patterns, everything screams #sportyspice and spring 2013! i think we are all ready for the heat. watch for some amaze kaadiki looks in our upcoming issue of freq magazine. xoxo
