hervé léger does what it promises season after season. for the spring runway (their 30th anniversary) there was no bandage dress in sight. what makes the brand so recognizable, and highly covetable, is the forgiving, silhouette hugging, fabric women flock to year after year. an introduction of the trouser was the big addition but even though the bandage dress was not present you wouldn’t have known it. the looks were perfect, all the way from makeup and hair down to the accessories. making us wish once again that there was a free standing hervé léger boutique just around the corner. what truly made the show was the finale. the models changed into all white looks and presented thirty more outfits in an almost full additional show. it was like a sped up monochromatic version of what we just saw. it was so beautiful and felt like it could go on forever, there was no stopping for cameras and no hesitation in sight, a very powerful moment. a shame that people seemed to have overlooked it. it will remain one of my favorite moments of fashion week this year. xoxo
