last week we were flown to toronto, courtesy of procter & gamble, for a very special beauty united blogger preview event. bloggers from all across canada got a serious dose of pampering at her majesty’s pleasure on king west. we started off with some delicious drinks, snacks and mingling and then followed into the back of the salon for head, hand and shoulder massages, consultations, illustrations, photo booths, gif booths and makeover stations. experts from all areas of beauty were there to assist us with any questions, even covergirl makeup pro + coco rocha’s personal makeup artist, veronica chu, was on site to help us think outside the box. if you weren’t already a fan of purple lipstick you may as well have left a convert.
my biggest (and ongoing) concerns are with my hair. trying to grow back my natural color is proving to be more than challenging and a little help every 8-10 weeks is more than welcome. it’s also really great to see and test these products out in person. i think every girl is a product junkie, one look at my bathroom would make you believe it anyway. we receive amazing products all the time and i always try to get educated before i talk about what i like and what i don’t so you guys can get the most accurate assessment.
