danny

FABULOUS is the only way to sum up today. we got to shoot danny. an early day for saturday, because at 7.30 i was up throwing clothes from my closet into a suitcase hoping something will materialize in a burst of inspiration. i picked up danny and we headed straight to alicja’s house where she did danny’s first professional makeup. i was so excited for the whole process considering this was the first experience of this kind for him. we wanted a completely androgynous look, i think a learning experience for all of us since we don’t exactly get to shoot amazing people like this around the city too often. i think the final results were and are going to be amazing. very rock and roll (hello! my favourite theme!). i was so excited at the studio i was literally jumping up and down. and what an amazing day it was, after all was over i felt totally high on creativity, or some form of it anyway. i always thought styling other models was never my thing but it turns out you only need to have an inspiring subject. i can not express enough how amazing this boy is and how grateful i am that he popped up into our (un)seemingly boring lives. and i really have my blog to thank, if i never got down from those bleachers to take his photo we would all be potato farmers by now. serendipity at it’s finest. xoxo
