it’s been a while since my last giveaway, i was planning on posting this one sooner but just got super busy. first of all i want to apologize for the back alley photos again, even though it got much warmer, the snow, or what has now more appropriately turned into mud is covering the streets up to the curb. what i was excited for in the beginning (ie the beauty of a white winter) is now turning into disgusting slush. no matter. here is the beautiful jacket that makes all the woes go away. the amazingly talented caitlin power has offered a piece from her collection to be given away on my blog. 100% silk crepe and leather is my answer to the classic leather jacket. i always say that i love to dress ‘hard’. this is the perfect example of chic, modern and rock and roll. drool! i wish i could keep this baby for myself. since i’m hosting the give away, unfortunately i have to sit this one out.

I love the pale gray shoulder-padded jacket with the attached bustier and armbands.
Although, that jacket is definitely top choice. I don’t know if I’d fit into it but it would be divine just to own such a great garment by our city’s best designer.

Love the Little Black dresses! Edgy but sophisticated and you can wear in any season…so versatile!

Caitlin Power is probably my favourite designer in Calgary. The first time I saw her was at PARKSHOW a long time ago and she never fails to blow my mind.
My all time favourite piece of hers is the dress I already own 🙂 but from her Spring 2011 line my favourite is the nude and black dress with the 2 thin black straps across the front. But all her stuff is to die for.

Zdecydowanie najbardziej podoba mi się ostatnia sukienka — połączenie nude i czarnej skóry, nieco przypominające w formie gorset, ale jednak nie, cóż za gra z widzem pyszne.

Szła z opuszczoną głową a i tak czuła na sobie wzrok ludzi którzy ją mijali. Zawsze była brzydkim kaczątkiem. Tą najgorszą najbrzydszą i najgrubsza.
Minęła straszą kobietę która prosiła o pieniądze na jedzenie. Jak zwykle pokazała swoje dobre serce i wrzuciła kilka groszy do jej kapelusza.
-Masz dobre serce. Spełnię jedno Twoje życzenie – powiedziała staruszka.
-Chciałabym aby ludzie w końcu dostrzegli we mnie kogoś więcej niż tylko brzydką dziewczynę.

W dniu gdy pierwszy raz miała je na sobie 4 chłopców poprosiło ją o numer telefonu a dziewczyny z klasy zaproponowały wspólne zakupy.
Srebrne spodnie i przecięciami od Caitlin robią na mnie największe wrażenie ponieważ myślę że mogą że mogą przemienić każde brzydkie kaczątko w pięknego łąbędzia.
