i was approached by a mount royal student a couple of weeks ago to take part in a project she was working on for her broadcasting class, where she would come and document, on film the processes i go through when i blog. melissa joined us for a shoot at the studio one day (photos from which are yet to be posted), she brought all her fancy gear and recorded some footage. she later joined me at home to talk about what it is i do. thankfully there is not much of me talking (my nasally voice is hard to digest) and melissa does a great job voicing the video over (woo!), charlie makes a cameo as does my hump (oops! things to watch for next time i’m doing an on screen interview, also bring some powder. i never see myself on video, my parents stopped recording my tv appearances long ago so this is highly amusing to me.) i am also very humbled and honored to have been asked to participate in this project. this is what i dreamed my school assignments would have entailed, instead i’ve become an accountant and rob just made fun of me for talking about ‘revenues’, i guess you can tell-this is nothing i’m proud to admit. here is the final product.
