after planning to see them for about 3 weeks now i finally got to go to the two imax movies. i don’t remember the last time imax played actual imax documentaries. ‘hubble 3d’ had some of the most spectacular images, enhanced even more by the 3d feature and ‘under the sea’ in turn was sad and emotional, posing such issues as global warming and extinction of species due to increasing temperatures of the planets’ waters. i can’t chose my favorite and will recommend to whoever goes to see them to stay for both. they are only 45 minutes long and probably will teach you much more than any action thriller ever could. both are narrated by celebrities (in case that sells it to you – leonardo dicaprio goes to space and jim carrey cracks jokes on the ocean floor). so there you have it. educational saturday afternoon for all.
