towards the end of may we shot a look-book for John James Jewelry. today we went to drumheller, alberta to shoot the second part, which was more editorial, the inspiration was the apocalypse (barbarella/ blade runner etc.). we lucked out with the weather, it was amazingly hot, but it really added to the atmosphere of the shoot. the landscapes were also very epic (aka the word of the day), the badlands and the hoodoos created an out of this world kind of feel. the whole team was, as usual amazing, and it was overall a great day. here are some behind the scenes photos as well as a sneak peak at the magic that happened, the amazing jewelry as well as the great makeup and styling:
with the amazing weather came the bugs… lots and lots of bugs (bug spray and sunscreen make for a deadly combination, i am pretty sure i am toxic right now)
the amazing catering, nothing better than fruit and juice on a hot sumer day
marta trying out the turban look, very hot right now
one of the four amazing pieces we shot today, this one weighted about 5lbs
the classic terry thumbs up. marta and alicja
last shot on the hoodoos. we were hoping for the tourists to have deserted the site by then but there were still some onlookers, being more pissed off then curious at our presence
the whole group after the last shot (i guess the tourists came in handy for something after all, moments like these are so rare): jeff, marta, ania, erin and alicja
