i have had a lot of movie catching up to do, so today i finally got around to watching ‘secretary’ with maggie gyllenhaall and james spader. i always wanted to see it judging by the movie poster, the movie was nothing what i expected. it was still good to watch, it was just nothing i expected, maybe it would have helped if i had seen the trailer? no i don’t think the trailer captures the essence. it’s s&m and passionate love in one, tricky combination… not that i’d know. anyway if you don’t appreciate the movie for it’s artistic merit and thought provoking dialogue (!) you’ll at least find it surprisingly funny
