with summer shortly arriving (any day now) there will be much to do around the city. one of the things i look forward to every year is mount royal university’s production of shakespeare in the park. in the past they have put on ‘the taming of the shrew’, ‘midsummer night’s dream’ and ‘hamlet’. this year we can look forward to seeing ‘othello’, ‘much ado about nothing’ and ‘double falsehood’. the plays begin at 7pm sharp, it can get quite chilly in the evenings by the river so i always prepare to bring a warm sweater and something comfy to sit on, 3 hours can feel like a long time when sitting on the ground. here is the schedule for this years shakespeare in the park:
