i decided i will take french speaking class. i want to learn it so that one day i can really live in paris, not just in my head. so that i can listen to french music and watch french films and wear black all the time and maybe even smoke a cigarette while i’m eating a baguette. my dad’s reaction: why the hell do you need to speak french, learn how to speak spanish… dad clearly doesn’t understand
