some of you may know this girl from her job at holt renfrew but ‘real jobs’ aside luanne is to be known for her endeavours as the designer of jalu clothing. the line which was debuted to me for the first time at the fabricated show back in april is a mix of basic coloured pieces that are unisex and ultra comfortable. the best way of course to wear it all is with layers and it all looks amazingly cool. that’s why we all fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. knowing how hard it is to be a starting out designer, or any designer for that matter in this city i am beyond amazed at how she keeps everything together and makes everything work so well. every time i see her out at events or at work i admire her style and thus she ends up here today. so love her as much as i do and check out the line at http://jalu.ca. xoxo
