in for the long haul

we’ve been lucky in christmas this year, chinooks have warmed calgary for the holidays and we’ve been shooting outside all week. before that, however, and the last minute retail crazy, we took to the newly opened jnby (just naturally be yourself), alberta’s first. and in all the excitement got lost in their beautiful coats. i’ve been admiring jnby from afar (and online) for some time now, knowing little about the company itself. now the mystery has been folded, a chinese retailer known for minimal and contemporary designs. all the way from the store interiors to the older but edgy face of the brand, jnby knows exactly how to cater to the rick owens, alexander wang, margiela lovers. and did i mention that they are big in japan? follow their facebook page for up to date news and locations. xoxo
