stepping off the plane and making our way straight to the chinook centre first ever coach event sure makes for an exciting day. we were thrilled when we were asked to host what will go down as quite the milestone for the calgary flagship. the evening was extra special because we had all of our mums in tow as guests of honour. it’s not everyday we get to spoil those special ladies and we all know they deserve a little (or a lot) of pampering once in a while. after all who would we be without our mums? i shared my mum’s first coach bag story on the blog last week and now we have a follow up. i couldn’t be prouder of my sweet mummy for being so brave and coming out to what ultimately became her first fashion event. in light of what we have been faced with in the last few months it really does take an effort to be social sometimes. thankfully we were also surrounded by amazing friends who have been extremely supportive, in work as well as play. last night really was a celebration of these wonderful women, many of whom are mums themselves. we spent the time chatting, catching up, having delicious drinks and appies (thank you, our daily brett), and of course, shopping for some equally yummy bags. just in time for their spring collection the store was filled with candy coloured handbags that, for one night only, you could personilize with your initials. this will be a mother’s day to remember, and we have all of you to thank for its success. i hope you had a chance to stop by and see us in person but if you didn’t make it, make sure you visit the coach store in the next few days for the perfect mother’s day gifts. to help make your job easier, coach curated the perfect mothers day gift guide. so take that extra time to really make sure your mum is spoiled this weekend. love you mum <3 xoxo
