due to a crazy travel schedule, we were not able to make it to the break up and move event at the university of calgary last week. i really wish that we had been able to sit down with all the girls (and boys) to talk about our journey with breaking bad habits. it’s always easier to deal with the stress of change when you have people to relate to.
this past week has been a real testing ground for my own vices and dealing with implementing changes that will lead to my eventual goals. i know i talk about fixing my skin a lot because it’s something that is omnipresent at this point in my life. the only way i know how to deal with it is medically, a prescription for all my problems, but i promised myself that i would find a natural solution that will not give me anxiety about potentially harming my body. before we left for la, i picked up “skin cleanse” by adina griogore at my local bookstore and was done reading it by the time i landed. the truth of the matter is that this book will not tell you anything you don’t already know, but it is a good reminder of all those things. i’ve also learned a couple new things while reading this book all of which will make their way to the blog in the next few weeks.
