after a really long weekend of (mostly) driving we are in victoria… almost. i am writing this post on the ferry over, still trying to figure out wifi. oh canada! why are you so challenged?! there is a whole list of things that went so wrong in the last few days. of course, as a hardcore planner i get thrown for a loop when things go sideways and this weekend was a lesson in patience. true, we have acquired many coverable items (more on that a little later… also anyone know a good leather cleaner? *wink wink*) but boy am i tired. now i found out that my blog has been really lagging on the retina display front and am i ever freaked out. basically, after getting a new laptop and uploading some images it turns out that the sharper screens are testing the resolution of my pre-sized images. yea! #bloggerproblems but guys this is serious!
but enough about me. let’s talk about shoes, shall we. it has been an amazing start to the fall season. between the new agency and dealing with the new studio space (so soon) there has been little time for play. so what better time to take some outfit photos then on the road, somewhere in small town america, stranded without a hotel without wifi and with a suitcase full of clothes. done and done! a very exciting collaboration snuck up on us between nine west and instyle magazine (now in stores), a capsule collection designed just in time for fall by the editors of instyle. i had a really hard time deciding on that final shoe. i was stuck between the black jaiden and the wine and leopard cates. finally it came down to my love for burgundy, and maybe a little with their similarity to a pair of wangs i have had my eye on for some time now. harder even was the decision of which bag i walked away with. the inner dialogue of leopard vs. black, impossible to chose. that came down to a quick game of eenie, meenie, miney, moe.
