parkshow 2014

some of my favourite moments from this past weekend at parkshow 2014. tyler spent the day with us backstage, ultimately sponsoring this blog post. for a full line up of the night’s designers, photos & videos visit the park show event page. for our full coverage of the show and more backstage photos visit the ania.b facebook page. a very eventful and inspiring night, surrounded by amazingly talented people from across the prairies and some of my closest friends. i will let the photos speak for themselves on this one, there is not enough good things i can say about every single one of the designers showcasing their work this year (coutukitsch, suka clothing, rebecca king, camp brand goods, eg forge, bano eemee, kazz clothing, luxx ready to wear & malika rajani) and it would take a novel, seeing the event grow and mature over the years makes me proud to live in this little bubble of ours. sometimes it’s easy to forget, amongst the silent drama always brewing in this small industry that we are all working toward the same goals. having all of us come together in this way, that park makes possible, time and time again really makes it feel like being part of something special, and ultimately being part of this family. nothing makes me happier then stepping away from an event, feeling like i have taken something with me, discovering new talent, having met new interesting people, learning from peers and always growing… and obviously the models, those girls will forever have the most special place in my heart. xoxo
