It’s been a MONTH of getting on and off planes. It feels especially extreme because we were literally en-route to somewhere new every week, and even three times in a span of the last four days! If you follow along on Instagram (as you definitely should, for all the most recent updates) you will know we made our way to the desert again. I thought I would dedicate a post to how I wind down during travel. We have done some major tech upgrades with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and when it comes to our gadgets, those are our ultimate lifelines and of course an endless source of entertainment.
Video is an essential part of our lives, both professionally and personally. Tyler looks at himself as a filmmaker first, which is crazy to think judging by how many PHOTOS we end up taking, but it is true. When we met he was actually all about making short films. He’s still involved in making video in a big way for AniaB.net as well as his own YouTube channel. It’s no surprise then, that we end up watching a lot of Netflix and YouTube for inspiration, and our tablet is THE main video device. Even as I type this I’m finishing ’13 Reasons Why’ on Netflix, but one of our all-time faves is ‘Abstract’. If you are a creative and love hearing inspiring stories from people who get to be creative as a full time job this is a must-watch!
As we spend a lot of time in hotels, it’s the perfect way to wind down and fall off the grid after hours on the go. With up to 12 hours battery life I know I don’t have to risk my favourite show cutting off in the middle of watching, or on long haul flights and even road trips. With Fast Charging I can charge it up even quicker, which has to be our favourite Samsung feature to date! I’m also able to catch all my fave fashion docs and even runway shows during fashion month, letting me stay in tune with the latest trends, gossip… and sometimes even news. With expandable storage of up to 256GB I can also download everything I want to watch when we’re off Wi-Fi and not having to worry about storage space.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 also comes with the S Pen. I used to draw on the regular but as life happened it became a luxury past time. Whenever I have an opportunity to draw something, I will put the pen to paper (so to speak) and get creative. I use it with one of my favourite illustrating apps, SketchBook. Any amount of creativity can be therapeutic and relaxing and with us always moving it’s also nice to stop and recharge once in a while.
Being able to do all these things on a brand-new Samsung device of course has the added novelty of a shiny new toy and the hardware on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is definitely worth mentioning. Now that I’m home, I’m on the lookout for the next big binge session. What are some of your favourite new shows? xoxo
