it hasn’t even begun and i am already missing summer. last minute trip to la had us hitting the beach and discovering new neighbourhoods in one of our favourite cities in the world, los angeles. it was my first time getting to explore playa del rey, manhattan, hermosa and redono beaches, and wow what a different world from what’s normally familiar to us in la. i love these new spots for all the opposite reasons of why i’ve grown to love venice and sm. if you are ever feeling overwhelmed and just want to spend some quiet time at the beach those are your new hang out spots.
even though the temperatures were not optimal for a beach day, having been wearing parkas for far too long, i gladly threw on some shorts and a bikini top in hopes of catching even a little bit of sun. in perfect timing we received these EMU Australia numeralla boots just before we headed to the coast, so naturally they helped me achieve the perfect laid back, west coast & spring ready look. super easy to pack and travel with, the look gained me compliments all day. i even had a stranger chase me down at the supermarket later that day while we were picking up flowers just to tell me how great it was, adding to the list of reasons why living in la would only be the best thing ever. xoxo
