it’s not everyday that you get to be invited to be part of a huge event thrown by one of the most successful and popular brands in the world, let alone one that lays their roots right here in canada. naturally then, we were thrilled to have been asked to host aldo calgary editor’s ambush event with lou lou magazine on wednesday night at chinook center. with all the social media attention i am sure you didn’t miss your chance to get your fill of all things aldo and lou lou. those on site got a chance to chat with the magazine’s editors and sampled some delicious catering. the turnout was more than we could have ever expected. the calgary fashion crowd with all our favourites faces came out to support and shop the night away with 20% discounts on the entire store, swag bags and special in store giveaways for those most fashionable in attendance (yet another reason never to miss these things, and dress your best for every occasion). we made some new friends, got some more shoes and learned about aldo’s drool worthy high end collections (aldo rise for girls and mr.b for the gentlemen). i love the nights when you walk away and you are so happy to be part of such an amazing (and growing) community of people. be sure to check out garmann:lee and binzento for more coverage of the event as well as instagram and facebook for more of tyler’s photos from the evening. next stop on tour is vancouver, then montreal, let’s hope they don’t outshine us. xoxo
